Tunablade issues

Picked up a Tunablade for my E-mag, very well-made trigger and much more comfy than the stock trigger. However, for some reason after I installed it, it works fine in mech mode, but the trigger does not move at all in electro mode. Anyone have any experience with this?

.... is the magnet on the back of the trigger missing? Either that or the magnet needs adjustment. It may be too close or far away from the HES sensor.

heres my take on this... its 1 of 2 things

1.) your set screw for your trigger is making it too close to the pin and its not able to move in electro (but since mech pushes the pin it will work)

2.) your sear pin is too far out and is touching the trigger and its not the set screw


does it fire in hybrid mode? or just full mech mode because i can almost garauntee this is the problem

if it does not fire in hybrid back the screw out some on the selector switch to allow more trigger play

Yeah adjust your trigger travel while it's in Electro mode. Your going to have to take the body and rail off to adjust. The adjustment screw is in the selector switch assy in the frame.

You need to use a punch to pop out the pin (punch from the right side, not the selector switch side). It will just slide out although you may need to remove the rail in order to jimmy it by the sear.


To clarify, my problem isn't that the trigger won't activate the 'noid in electro mode, it's that it won't physically move at all. I'm assuming that's selector switch related based on the info above?

So it looks like my problem is two-fold; one I'm a retard and there's no magnet in my Tunablade (der? ), and unfortunately the hex on my stock trigger is stripped so I'll need to get a new one. Second problem is definitely trigger travel, so I guess I'll need to monkey with the selector switch.

The trigger travel will be a piece of cake for you to adjust. As for the trigger magnet assy, it looks like AGD is out of them. Try Tunaman, if he doesn't get back to you anytime soon I'll see what I have in my boxes.

This thread helped me fix my emag micro 2000. One thing that threw me off was that in the manual, (EMAG Manual 2.0) it states:

2. Electronic Mode: Indicated by the selector switch positioned so that it points toward the Safety at the rear of the marker frame.

And my "E mode" is when the selector is pointed down. That is where the set screw in the selector has any effect on the trigger pull. To point the selector towards the safety eliminates all trigger travel whatsoever.
