warp feed hose and feed neck issue

When I walk my warp feed activates is this normal? I have a sp1 and i cant seem to get it to activate when I fire yet when I walk it turns on. The warp seems to be over sensitive yet if i turn it down It wont activate when I fire. When I put in a new pod of paint it activates. yet it wont activate when i fire. So checked my jumper settings and I just dont know if i have it setup right. Could some on help me. I have read the manual But it doesn't seem to be correct. Also what should I use for the top feed I have the supplyed adapter but it wont fit my sp1. I have seen pics of people cutting on their sp1 to get it to work but i dont want to cut off the feed neck. What can I buy to get this working? Or should I just return it and get a Q loader. They have a sp1 mod package on their site.
