    Pneumag

I have a pneumag with rpg chimera frame i just bought and i looked at the pnuematics that are in it and how that piston hits the sear to trigger the gun. I was wondering if i could put the same pnuematics in a tippmann, and i was wondering if that piston has enough power to trigger the sear on a tippmann.

Would the piston have enough power? Sure.

Would you have enough room inside the grip to fit the piston? Probably not.

If memory serves, the trigger on the Tippmann pivots to push the sear up, releasing the bolt. I can't imagine how you would fit a piston somewhere inside that grip to replace the job that the trigger does.

That's why people call mags "simple." There's a lot more room inside the frame, and there's really only one part (the sear) to worry about. Inside the Tippmann, there's a bunch of pins and springs and very tight places.

But hey... nothing's impossible. If you give it a go and it works, post up pics. Have fun.
