    CO2 on RT Classic

I know, I know...not supposed to use CO2 on the rt type valves. However, I need to tune my level 10 bolt a bit and my HPA tank needs to be rehydrotested. Can I use CO2 in the gun just for maintenance (checking for leaks, firing a couple of times)? It's not like I'm going to be shooting very quickly.

Figured I better check first anyway.

He is correct. The expansion properties of CO2 and the way an Automag works basically mean the gun will instantly freeze over. You cannot use CO2, at all.

This is because the valve switches back and forth between regulated and full pressure with every trigger pull creating the RT. CO2 is not that stable and will most likely freeze, but if you decide to try it, let us know what happens.

Its not how fast you fire the marker, its how fast the marker recharges that causes the problem.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
