I just got my first AGD marker and I have some questions about the valve. Is there a way to tell what level valve you have? I have the minimag with 4 stars on it and I wanted to know if there was some way to tell if you had the lvl 10 valve components.

The guy I got the mag from couldn't tell me much about it other than it's old school and accurate.

Is there a dramatic difference between the Xvalve and the level 10 valve when used on a minimag?

Lvl 10 is the bolt assembly, not sure if there's a best way to tell... a lvl 10 will have a hex head power tube tip, the brass piece u see if u take the bolt off the valve.

As for the valve, minimag valve is the same as a standard classic. The X-vlave will be mostly aluminum with a big X on it usually.

As for use, the lvl 10 when tuned stops ball breaks, but more gas is used per shot.
As for the X-valve, i've never used one so all 'd be able to tell u is why i wouldn't upgrade
