    Twistlock pin and Emag Rail

Hey, I'm having trouble fitting the twistlock pin into my rail... it seems the middle of the twistlock pin is too wide to fit to where it needs to, so when i put the body ontop of the rail, too much of the twistlock is sticking out and my barrel won't go in..

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

It goes in tight. Real tight.

EDIT: Wait... so you're twistlock assy. isn't going in all the way but you can still put the body on fine (level)? Hm... well, you could always just try unscrewing the grub screw a little. I'm referring to the one at the bottom of the twistlock assy. that adjusts the pressure of the twistlock pin. But I think you're better off just making sure the assy. is bottomed in its little seat thing.

So then what is the best way to jam it down in there?

I have a steel mainbody so I think I ususally use that.

But just put some supports under the rail (right next to the twistlock hole) and press it in there with something that won't make contact with the rail.

Just put some supports under the rail (right next to the twistlock hole) , then I use a small 1/4"drive socket to drive it down in , the spring tension is also adjustable on these , at the bottom there is a allen screw to adjust , just flush normally works good .
If the body fits down flush on the rail without "rocking " you are in far enough

I tried using the supports and I even tried lubing the sides of the twistlock adapter....

There is no way I can get this thing to fit far enough through the rail hole. There is a point in which the pin just won't go further into the rail. But when I put the body on, the twistlock adapter stick too far out into the chamber and none of my barrels can get far enough in. much less lock into place...

So, the twistlock assembly doesn't prevent the body from seating properly, but barrels don't go in easily? I had the same problem once. I loosened the spring and trimmed the pin down with a file. I recommend you just grind the tip down with a dremel, but be careful to keep the tip rounded like it's supposed to be.

                Here is the issue:

That is as far as I can put the twistlock adapter into the Emag rail. I've pushed on it as hard as I could.

With that said, when I put my body on the rail (which fits perfectly)

The pin sticks too far into the chamber blocking my barrel from going far enough in and locking correctly.

Could home depot or somewhere like that have a press that could push that thing further down?
