Specific Upgrades for New P/F Mag!! Please help....

I'm ready to purchase a new P/F Mag and want to purchase the upgrades/add ons at the same time. I was thinking of doing this through Action Village and just have them install the add ons and ship it out to me ready to go, rather than have to do it myself.

    1) Is this a good idea to do?

    2) What specific upgrades should I buy and have installed on the gun to maximize its potential? (Around $Around 300 to spend not including barrel)

    Thanks in advance!!

    I would suggest...

    ...in the following order:
-*nitro tank, 68/3000 pre set (Center Flag or PMI)
    -*12v Revolution Hopper
-double trigger (can use the standard grip frame if you cut the trigger guard off)
    -bottom line set up
    -drop forward
    -foregrip
-quick disconnect hoses or Venom line

thats about it. The beauty with the Mag is that you don't have to mess with upgrading the internals...but there is just enough extra stuff that you can get to get you in trouble with your wife (or parent or whoever you have to ask for money from). The first two items with the * next to them are considered a must for most Mag owners and will affect performance. The rest is stuff that you may or may not need based on your personal preference.

I've never been a fan of having a gun messed with before I get it. (Especially by a retailer). Not only could this void a warranty, but it means that you don't get the experience of doing it yourself. You're eventually going to be pulling the 'gun apart anyways, so why not learn how to do it from the beginning?

Skanline is one of those that sells 'packages' consisting of guns with expansion chambers/bottomlines/regs/etc. already installed... if you're really interested in something like that, check them out.

If I were you I'd look for automag upgrades on Ebay, I also know that there is a retailer who is constantly putting preset 68/4500 crossfire nitro tanks for auction at a good 170 some dollars(other tank sizes and psi for more/less), this is great for your basic nitro needs, you also might want to look in a drop forward and a revolution hopper on there too. I'd recommend using plain steel braided hoses with a quick disconnect. Besides that a foregrip would be all you'd need to start.
