    minimag problems

    hey i just got a minimag but it has a little problem but i cant understand what it is!
    when i fire it, after the ball came out (with less strenght) it leeks co2 from the barrel.
    sometimes if i fire it again it stops. and some other time it empy my tank...
    can you help me?

      Is it lvl 10 or lvl7? Usually the power tube oring is responsible for any leaks down the barrel. If its lvl10, you can try a smaller oring carrier.


      If you are using a bottom line co2 you are probably getting liquid into the gun. That is a big no-no, since it freezes that oring and causes it to leak.

          If you're using the venturi bolt (has a concave bolt face with lots of holes) i have one thing to say. Don't.

          I used that with co2 and it sucked, so i got power tube spacers and put the smallest in, it still had problems with compressed air even. I switched it to the level 7 i got with my classic RT and now it even fires co2 like a champ.

              which valve do you have? the stainless Steel classic valve or a black rt style valve?

                  The problem is the powertube O-ring. Depending on whether it's L7 or L10, co2 or HPA, and some other stuff, you can systematically eliminate possible problems until you arrive at the solution. So just tell us all about your gun.

                          ok...i think its a venturi..but as soon as i can i 'll put i pic on here..
                          but thanx for the help i'll open it up today and i'll see..since the minimag its not really mine but my bf..
