    Pneumag issues....

I'm not sure if this belongs here or in The Workshop, so I'm posting it here.

I have an X-valve, LVL X, ULT and Y-grip and it's just been converted to a Pneumag. Trouble is that I can get one shot off and then it doesn't reset reliably. Sometimes it will hiss down the barrel and then click it's good to go. Other times it just hisses until I remove the tank. This was a working mag until I changed it to a Pneumag. The only other change was the ASA which I haven't ruled out either as I can't get my tank screwed in completely. Any suggestions that you can give me would be great. The only trouble is that I'm down to about 1000 PSI in my tank and my mag doesn't like to go much below 1000 PSI.

leaking down the barrel isn't a pneu problem, it's either your ULT not being oiled or your lvl x oring being too big. Or if you didn't mount the pneu ram in the grip back far enough if may be preventing the sear from resetting all the way

      ^ What he said.

It is most likely an out of tune LVL 10.

Slight chance, but check your on/off bottom. If the ram has too much travel, it can gall the crap out of the brass.

The ram wasn't mounted back far enough. Had to Mill(Dremel) the frame a little more as well as the ram itself to allow to push it back a little more. Thanks guys, I'm just sorry I didn't get back to finishing it sooner.
