Once again thanks for the help
Now it sounds like your on/off pin is too long and won't let gas get to the bolt. How many shims do you have in the ULE on/off?

it looked like 2 but I could be wrong. I ended up playing the day with my friend's warpfed tac one. Had a good time but anxious to get my mags up and running. I guess I have time to piddle with it and research. I appreciate everyone's advice and will let you know what seems to work heh. I need to get my hands on some shims and spacers I guess...I have none.

Hrm. If you gas up it fires by itself and then will do nothing, but there is resistance on the trigger, it might be bolt stick. Press on the bolt with a squeegie and see if it resets.

Bolt stick is an easy fix. (Add oil, largest carrier that doesn't leak, stronger spring.)
