    Flatline upgrade

    I was looking at AGD's FAQ and noticed this;

    Q. Is it possible for me to upgrade my 47 cu in FLATLINE to a 68 cu in FLATLINE?

    A. No, it's not.

    Anybody know why this is? Seems odd to me.

    Only reason that I could see would be if the regs or tanks used different threads, but that makes zero sense from a manufacturing standpoint.

    They probably just didn't want end users dismantling HPA tanks.

            That would be cool, but a little off topic.

              Sorry. The point being that a 22ci bottle is not a stock AGD bottle and more than one person has pulled flatlines off of the original bottles and put them on another, multiple times. I know the hydrotesters have had mine off twice and the bottle is a common Carelton which used to all come with the same threads.

              So, like secretweaponvan, I think it was either liability or economics that kept the factory from making the changes. Unless of course the threads are different.

                the threads are standard HPA bottle threads

                  Thanks! Three year hydros are annoying. I'll be looking for a new bottle next time.
