RT's may be old, but the valve internal design remains the same. ULT may help your BPS. The benchmark double gives a better RT feel, (IMO), so just get an adjustable HPA system and you'll be surprised how fast you can shoot.

i have a dye throttle tank.what would be a good adjustable hpa system.

A ULE Trigger kit will not "drop in" to a classic RT. You will need to send it out to Tunaman (or another highly-skilled airsmith) to get it drilled.

You can get it Pneu'd though and then it will be very fast. Google "pneumag" and start a readin'.

What's the output on your Throttle? 900psi or above seems to work best for RT. I have a Flatline, but any adjustable output would allow you to tune for optimum reactivity.
Try it with your system, I know mine works great with the Benchmark even with a preset reg.

Oh, sorry. I guess I didn't mention the need to mod for a ULT.

Yep, that is an old gun. But it's still the fastest in the world.

You don't need anything but a good airsystem. A Hyperflow, Armageddon, and a few others will do the trick. Just post a WTB for an adjustable reg that's adjustable to 1000psi.
