Yup, a 4500psi tank is designed to hold upto 4500psi of air (you can fill it to 1000psi if you want to run to the fill station after each game)

yeah but why would u want to do that?? 4500psi gives u more shots and more consistancy. you can fill the tank n e where from 0-4500psi. if u only want 3000psi get a 3000psi tank

I have 2 4500's and My field normally only fills up to 4500, but when im woring ill fill it up to 4500. At 3000 your pressure doesnt fall back down when it cools as much as a 4500 or a 3000.

if you do want to fill upto 4500 just make sure you goto a store or field that has the equipment needed to fill up to 4500. besudes that filling upto 3000 is the same thing as filling upto 4500 and shooting around for a while....

I play on a field that always seems to not have enough pressure in their fill tank so I usually get anywhere from 2000 to 1500 fill which sux but what can I do except play somewhere else. I guess I am also saying it also depends on the fill tank on your field and how much air they have as well.

I see no reason to buy a tank these days that's not 4500 (or higher). You can always use a lower pressure if it's all that's avalible. And if 4500 is avalible, you are good to go. You never know when your local field will upgrade from a 3000psi only system.
