    Walkable A.I.R valve?

does anyone have a consistently walkable (even if its a hard pull) Mech only automag?

i tried couple years ago to make one, but never really got past an on off

and im about to try again

    any help on what parts?

i already completed my walkable mech cocker so the mag gotta step up

How and what did you do to make your cocker walkable?

Swing frame? i remember those had a pretty nice pull, only shot one briefly though, didn't want to waste my friend's paint.
Il n'y a point de sots si incommodes que ceux qui ont de l'esprit.

A Classic Valve + ULT is not recommended, because the classic valve gasses the dump chamber only through the on/off. The ULT has a modest flow and would cause massive shootdown. A RT on/off makes a Classic fast, but its hard to pull....tricky....

Oops, wasn't paying attention. It's an X valve. so I guess its irrelevant.

If you want a walkable Classic valve, pneumag is pretty much you best/only option.

I was curious either way. I'm still trying to get comfortable with mine (on an X valve).

you're fairly safe up to 8 bps with just a well tuned ult without facing shoot down.

walking an air valve is more than possible, mine was walkable, but chuffed like crazy. I had I think 6 total shims in the ULT. I've read doing the sear mod would greatly reduce chuffing.

then again the guy who taught me mags had a very unique way of walking the trigger and could reach fairly high speeds with a classic on of an rt on off and even faster speeds with a ULT without chuffing. In the end I pneu'd my classic valve and walked it that way (too lazy to try and retrain my fingers).

if you're curious as to how he walked it, he wouldn't fan it but he would let his fingers lie on the edge of the trigger right or left side and brush it letting his finger slide against the trigger and fall off each time. Kinf of like if you're fingers were peacocking...do not ask how I know that word...

reduce all friction and force to the trigger pull
                      polish the sear, hammer, ram
use light springing and the lowest HPR and LPR psi possible
                      roller sear

CCM Ram with Vrings instead of orings

im thinking of making my own on off much like Electricians where it would give me more flow to the dump chamber for a slower pin speed of fingers

hoping to have a botton Dia like the ULT, the head Dia of Electricians on off with the bottom part like the Z Valve for extra finger kickback

                      dont ULT pins come apart?

You mean like if you were "walking" the side of the trigger. That is how I've always done it. I'm trying to get mine dialed in still at this point. Have 6 shims as well and I find myself still wanting it lighter. I guess I'm still expecting it to be the fbm samurai from my karni

Apparently yes. I only know this because my buddy just lost the half of his pin that hits the sear. They are press fit together.

                            thought they were threaded

i know i seen a pic somewhere of one unscrewed

maybe ill just use a pin as the ULT pin for my project...drill a hole in the top hat and epoxy it in there
