Valve sliding backwards -- sear not hitting on/off

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has had this problem....but I'm noticing that when I shoot, my valve is sliding backwards and the sear isn't quite hitting the on/off completely. When I push the valve forward, I can rock-n-roll without any issues, but the moment it slides back, I get spits and sputters.

Anyone have a resolution? I've cranked the frame screw as tight as I could but it still has issues sliding back.

    Thoughts? Ideas? Remedies?

THANKS! Now that I'm pulling these mags out of the closet after almost 10 years, I never remembered having these issues before....

Sounds like you're missing the tumb screw bushing.

Check your rail/gripframe.... Is there a copper colored bushing in the hole where the thumbscrew goes? If not, then this could cause your problem.
