sounds like you are not getting enough juice. check

      1 your battery voltage
      2 you solenoid resistance

      actually check
1 your screws are tightned on your body valve
2 you have a rail bushing installed

      then the first 1,2

do you have an emag pin in the valve?

what is the dwell set to?

          do you have a caliper?

a caliper is a measurement tool to measure your sear.

I would check your voltage first if it has sat for that long. It should give over 16 volts fully charged.

even if i have the voltage there still may not be any power behind it. I thought the only way to check a battery is under load. va

check the resistance across the two solenoid wires. IIRC it should be ~ 3 ohms. (I can check later on).

Do you have the xmod manual? it has alot of helpful info.

check the plunger length, from the tip of the plunger to the back of the sear arm.

If it worked 2 years ago , then sat around for 2 years not getting charged or discharged , it probley is the battery , I have had a couple batterys that said they had almost 18 volts but they wouldn't pull the solenoid ( voltage & holding a load are two different things ) , pull the battery out of the case & check for corrision and "swelling" inside the shrinkwrap , do you know where you can borrow a battery to try another ?

(If it sat for 2 years it probably needs a nice oil bath too.)
