    valve anno??

    can you anno one of the x valves? or would that damage it?

      It can be done but there is always a small risk involved in doing it. I have done it myself several times with good results. Just dont dont leave the valve in the strip tank for any longer than is needed to get the job done. I did an old 3K flatline regulator 3 times because i could not make up my mind on the color and it worked fine. Pretty much the same deal.

          so do you have to remove the steel front part of the valve? i know the rest of the parts can be removed,but did not know if that front part can even come off.

            It is loctited on.

            Just heat it up and twist it off.

            bazooka_boy tore mine down completely and put it back together to test. He actually perfers to do the tear down so that he can test everything after.
