New Tac One owner and loving it. Just an issue with RT.

    Hi all,

Today is the first time I've played with my Tac One and I'm in love with it.

I got more kills than I normally played with my A-5 and 98c (both heavy but good and reliable markers). If it is not the Mag/Tac-one then it probably is my shooting skill improving after at least 8 games this year. But I really think it is my Tac-One paired with a Stiffi barrel which just feels right in my hands. I think it does shoot really well even using just field paint (Draxxus Midnight).

I wish there is a way to attached a "sling" since even if the Tac is not really that heavy it's tiring after awhile playing in the woods.

Now, I do have an issue with it about the RT/Reactive Trigger. It basically does not bounce. I got a Crossfire HP which the manuf website states that it puts out 800 psi.

Can anybody suggest a good tank and/or screw in tank regulator to get the RT to bounce?

I've been looking for a while in the net about tanks & reg that puts out higher than normal HP psi but most of the ones available nowadays are fixed to 850 psi. Most manufacturers of adjustable tanks regs recommended around here are out of business (nitro duck, AA...etc). I have not tried a tank with 850 psi yet but do you guys think I'll get an RT with it (just 50 psi more than the Crossfire)?

Other than a way to attached a sling and the RT issue, I'm very happy with the Tac One.

You should see a more pronounced RT effect with 900+ psi.

You can easily attach a sling to a Tac-One. I got a rail sling mount off an airsoft seller on eBay and absolutely love it:

Try Ebay, I just got a Dyna Flow Adjustable Reg. for next to nothing. 5 Years ago it went for $375, I got it for $37 plus shipping. Look around, you'll find some deals.

          You guys are awesome...

I could not find any Dynaflow regs even in Ebay. I did got one for a NitroDuck I-reg there with a 1k piston. I'll post the result once I get it and tried it out.

          Thanks for the ideas.

            pvcHook ,

I love the looks of the rail sling mount. I've looked at Ebay and it seems like the only ones selling these are from Hong Kong. Anyway, I'll try it. It doesn't look that expensive.

Is this a Quick Release version? Does it hold the Tac's weight well without accidentally getting loose?

            Thanks for the great idea.

RT bounce is just as much a result of on/'off pin length as it is input pressure. The pin is probably .750. Switching it to a .730 would give you what you are looking for. However, I suggest a ULT instead. Lighter trigger pull and the pin length is adjustable by adding or removing shims.

That's correct, it's the quick release version. I believe I got that for something around $12 shipped from HK.

As for sturdiness, I don't believe it'll ever come loose or accidentally fall. The quick release has 4 bearings securing it in place:

I've been using it for almost 2 years and it has yet to let me down!

                  rhooki,

Yeah, I also had a Slin rail mount on my tac one just like PVChook and it works great.
But I do not use it anymore.. might be willing to sell it if you like.

                  If so, pm me :)
