Quick n Easy SP Ion Question

    Sorry guys, but quick question.

If I get an Ion for my girlfriend (had to get this one because she wants it in pink) can I run the HPA tanks I've been using on my mags?

If I can, does that mean I'd just have to get a low pressure reg for the tank?

Are there actual low pressure tanks that I will have to buy?

    Thanks,
    Jason

you'll be fine with an hp tank because the ion has a low pressure regulator to account for that (its the fioregrip)

I'm not sure why the manufacturers say to use a low pressure (<500psi) tank. The Ion's reg should be able to handle high pressure output tanks (~850psi). In fact, you might be better off using a high-output tank because there's less chance of starving the reg.

          well smart parts i guess...lol

But a friend of mine has a 06 or 07 shocker and the Stock reg blew frequently up due to much inlet pressure......the he replaced it with a CP reg and no more problems...

          Thats might be why...
