Crossman stock and AGD CF frame - is it possible?

Have anyone ever installed a Crossman stock into an AGD stock CF frame? How did you do it? What did you cut, the frame or the stock? I have a brand new stock here that I must fit into this frame for a new project but I'm afraid of ruining it, as they are so hard to find these days. If you have any pics, that would be great too! Thanks!

I did it back in '92 or so.

I heated up a screwdriver with a blow torch and kept digging into the inside of the stock until it fit.

This was back when AGD frames were the potmetal WGP ones, but it would work the same.

HOWEVER, cf frames are cheaper than dirt if you keep an eye out, and I would just hack off the corner of the frame since frames are easier to get than Crossman stocks.

[22:06] BenoitOWN: Would an agd CF frame could be worked to work on a crossman stock?
[22:07] dukie: might need a filler
[22:07] Mayvik: well you'd awnt to cut the stock
      [22:07] Mayvik: since it's a $20 stock
      [22:07] Mayvik: but yeah
[22:07] Mayvik: sheridan frames, crosman frames, and AGD frames are all pretty similary
[22:08] dukie: try a nelly grip on a cf frame
[22:08] dukie: see where its different
      [22:09] Mayvik: uh
      [22:09] Mayvik: no
[22:09] Mayvik: crosman stocks are not hard to find
      [22:10] Mayvik: they're like $20
      [22:10] Mayvik: several spots

Thanks. I agree that the frames are easier to find and cheaper and I was thinking to cut down it's base, instead of essing with the stock. Still, I'd need to cut the top of the built in grips (they are higher than the frame) as well as the back part of the stock, in order to let the frame go all the way to the screw hole point. I'm afraid of doing so.

Are you speaking of these... if so looks like $25 would get you another set.
