    Detent Question

I have a new Tac-one and it comes stock with one detent. Two questions: First, is it worth adding a second detent? Second: If you feel it is do you recommend anyone that does that kind of work? I'm not comfortable drilling into the new gun myself. Maybe if I had a drill press but I don't. Thanks in advance: Feyd.............

              1) reliability. sometimes you wear one out and shoot the pieces out, or it can come loose and fall out if you don't put them in snug with orings or loctite.

              2) small paint. Paint that is sub 0.684 is very hard to detain. If you get in an event with that size of paint, something has to be adjusted, your loader or your detents. If you have two, it's not so bad.

              3) wear. on average paint you screw in a detent until it holds the paint. With two, they only need to be about half as far into the breach. This saves wear since the detents are not being pushed as far and they are being pushed at a lighter angle.

That said, I still suffer single detents in my mags.
