    short stroke??????

Alright this is the first time this has happened to me so I don't know what it is. I think from what I've read on the forum is that I'm short stroking my trigger pull. Alright so I flanked around the side of a bunker and there are two dudes hanging out behind the bunker. I go to squeeze off a couple of rounds and the first five shot maybe 10 feet in front of me. It happened a couple of other times my first few shots would basically roll out the barrel and then it would shoot fine. I was thinking that it was probally because it was cold and the gun just needed to heat up some but then it started happening in between strings of fire.

    I'm using a minimag valve with a benchy 45.

Any ideas or tell me what I'm doing wrong????

is your trigger capapable of having trigger stops? you will see small holes drilled on the top and back of trigger, they help alot with short stroking

with a lvl 7, there isnt much that can go wrong, its not leaking, i can suggest trying a new spring and see if that helps

Check your nubbin if you are using a twist-lock.

You would hear a definite difference in sound if you were shortstroking. It makes more of a "tsst" sound then the usual cough of the 'mag shooting.

The benchy 45 frame should be very difficult to short-stroke with, is it the doubletrigger frame?

                    Are you low on air?

If you don't hear the sound of you short-stroking, and you aren't low on air, I'd say the same as secretweaponevan: bad detent/nubbin.
