    are tanks interchangeable

Hey I haven't posted on here in like 3 or 4 years! i have an rt ule custom and i had a air america apocalypse 2k. apparently air america went out of business. does anyone know anything about that? can i get my tank repaired? i went to my local field yesterday just to get my tank filled. so i walk up and the guy takes off the female from the male quick disconnect and motions for me to hook it up. i am not trained for this and havent played in a year or 2 cause i broke both my hands/wrists last year. as soon as he turns his tank on to fill it up i hear air screaming out of my tank. i knew we broke it and we put the air in the output not input. i know retarded. so there goes $300 on that tank by reversing the valve! can i get this fixed!? can i take the apoc2k reg off the tank and put a new reg on it? im pissed!
rt ule custom, boomstick, ult,apoc2k and x board revi, i want:j&j ceramic.

I believe Air America is out of operation, although a lot of their products float around on various forums... you can find tanks and regulators

They used the same regulator design as the Airgun Designs A.I.R. valve, identical seals and o-rings as well as the internals

I have an old-school Apocalypse that has the stainless steel regulator, but it is a nice 45ci 4500psi bottle so i am considering putting on a lighter bottle reg, like Smart Parts Micro Max Flo
