    qloader, emag, maxflo problems

ok so here is the problem... i know you guys can fix it and i know i could prolly too if i thought about it for a while... basically the marker is leaking out of the barrel... i know i know, hold down the trigger and see if leaks.

i did that but cant remember what happens but lets just assume the worst and assume the leak stops wen it is pulled. What order should i check first... i have my carier set to 1 dot and no lines... so (.5) and i have a new o-ring in it if that matters. There are 3 shims in it to reduce breakage because my qloader acts up a lot (will be discussed later) and normally i run 2 and it is good. What should i check for the leak... also there was a macroleak but thats fixable.

Lastly i wanna talk about my qloader. It was chopping a lot of balls before i even got them into the marker. There was a lot of broken paint at the beginning of the tube. Any ideas? i have 14 prewinds and found 1 pod to be broken. All the rest are fine and there are no gaps in the load. The tubing seems to be cut to correct length because when i remove a qpod it doesnt chop one in the loader or in the tube.

Any ideas? also... any ideas on how to get a 90* adapter from luke to stay on better because the firing of the mag shoots it off and unloads and entire pod.

Plus... there is a lot of chuff chuff going on... which i love because i know the bolt is working but at the same time its depressing to know it wont fire. (sad face)

someone help me out with some of these things... and not like they matter but for other info, i am using beta 1.8 xmod and running a ROF of 17 a dwell or 14 and a fix of 45ish... no ACE, and a maxflo at 1100 psi input, red spring at 280fps on the dot... and a freak kit with wicked overboring. (got a lot of chops today but i give that credit to the Q)

over shimming = leaking when not fireing

Do you load the tube befoer you put in a q pod? try also lowering the prewinds

14 prewinds on your Q-pod is standard. Sound like the paint you're using is too brittle. I used Diablo Formula 13 two days ago without any problems. Earlier the same day I had endless trouble with Diablo Allstars breaking inside the Q-pods as well as inside the feed tube. Switched to F13 and my problems stopped right there.

the paint i am using is pretty thick shelled actually... and i do prefill the tube before i put on the first Q pod. The balls arent breaking in the breech due to the bolt and are not breaking in the actual qpod... they break as soon as they get into the chamber of where the pod attachs to and right where the metal ball retaining clip sits.

I know 14 is the standard... i will try to play around with hose length again and hope that is the problem. I know for a fact (as of this morning) that it is the metal retaining clip that is popping the balls... i preloaded the tube and somehow punctured 1 of them just enough to make a slit. When i unloaded the tube the ball let some paint on in the tube and wen it got to the breech it was open enough to break even by a correctly shimmed bolt
