I had an xvalved ULE mag recently and I'm curious as to whether or not it's possible to use any other vert mag body in place of it, i.e. will a classic body accommodate the rest of the system?

DEPENDS ON BODY TYPE

IF it is a VF E-mag or rt-pro body you don't need to mod the rail(round circle on under side of the body)

Also, you will need a twistlock assembly for the rail if you go to a twistlock barrel type body.
