    Which Valve for Pneumag?

I'm about to get my hands on my first pneumag, though it's not totally complete. It won't have a rail, and no valve.

I was wondering, does it matter what vlave and rail I get? I can get a decent deal locally for a RT valve, will that work well on a pneumag? Or is there something else recommended? Same question with the rail. Will any rail work? Or not?

    doesnt matter.

the rail is based on personal preference. make sure you get one that will fit your body and triggerframe though. (ie you cant use a Logic UMF with a pariah body)

Hmm, didn't know that about frames and rails. Though I'm not going too fancy.

Most likely I'm going to have them on RT rails.

      But thanks for the info.

You can use and RT valve or an X-valve. I would use an X-valve as they accept the ULT. IMHO the ult is a must for a easier to walk set up. Still more your choice than anything else...

See question 13 in the FAQ for valves.

While you can pneu any mag, you can only take a classic valve so far with a good amount of tweaking. Without a lot of work, the reactive valves are easiest to shoot without tripping over your own fingers too much. Since the classic recharges slower than the reactive valves, your chances for chuffing when you are walking the trigger (10 bps +) are about twice that of a reactive valve.

If you don't have a problem with tuning pneumatics, a level 10, and a ULT at the same time, a ULT'd reactive valve is a noticeable difference on trigger pressure and poor trigger stroke "forgiveness", like cyberave said.

A classic valve with an RT on/off just needs more (and continued) practice. If you play with an electro sometimes, it's hard to keep a clean stroke for a pneu in the first place and the classic is not as easy to run as a reactive valve.
