Pneumag tuning

I serched around and couldnt really find a pneumag tuning guide or anything. I recently got one , and while it shoots good , it just doesnt seem to be what I thought it was going to be. It made the trigger pull really light , but the trigger was light with the ult on/off. The trigger seems REALLY sloppy to.

Anyway , should I run alot of shims with the pneu frame or not.

I'm new to mags and so far it really hasnt lived up to thier reputation.

explain sloppy? Try to be specific as well. I can help with the whole thing but i need to know what seems to be prob. And also could you post a pic of the set up. It also helps to see what was done for the conversion to see if there are other tips i can offer to you...

By the trigger being sloppy , I mean it has a lot of side to side movement . I just compared it to my other intelli frame trigger , and that one has the side to side loosness too. I guess that is just how the intelli frames are.

I'll work on the pics.

Also , do I want lots of shims in the on/off , or no.

OK well side to side is common and doesnt affect anything so you should be good there. As for the ULT kepp adding one shim at a time and take a few shots. If it seems to be shooting fina add another till the gun starts acting funny. Soon as that happens remove the last shim and you should be set. Its actually better to test it with a stock sear arm and pin but if you dont have one just pay attention to how the gun reacts each time you make a change....

Yeah , I have a stock sear. So I just set it up like I would without the pneu frame. thats cool.

i wish the trigger felt better though.

You can 'shim' the stock trigger with a thin washer around the trigger pin, just make sure it still moves freely when you are done.

You also see bearing triggers like a viper blade on pneu's to tighten them up.

If you have a trigger stop, that helps the 'feel' of the side movement on the stock trigger some also.

Thanks , I'll try putting a shim in there and see what it feels like. I think I have some small washers at work.

what cyberave forgot to mention........and i think is also your sloppy trigger feel is you need a magnet mod "cyberave makes them"

also a pic of the setup would help alot.

are you using trigger stops?
