    Pump Mag Questions

My project for this winter is a PumpMag! (big pump skirmish game coming this spring)

I know little about them as of right now so here's some questions:

How is the pump operation with them? Is it a nice, easy cocking, smooth sliding pump action? or is it not that great of a pump gun and more of a novelty just to have an "Automag Pump"?

I am not sure of the term for it, but I remember the last time I used a pump over 10 years ago, some pumps had a feature that if you kept the trigger held in and kept pumping, the gun would continue firing. Does the PumpMag do this or do you need to pump then pull trigger, pump then pull trigger, etc....?

Finally, I know AGD doesnt make the Pump Kit anymore, and I know I will need to get the rail milled. Does anyone on AO or other sites that have their own online store sell or make the Pump Kit? (where can I get one?)

    Thanks

as far as the pump stroke. Take a look at this thread.
Paintball Talk is the main forum for Automags.org. Here is where we talk about the sport of paintball in general and make announcements relating to the forum and website.

There are NO autotriggers for a pump mag. 1 pump 1 pull 1 shot

A few people are making pump kits as well as offering their services to mill rails and bodies.
Do a member search for rainman and for jay8541

I have a rainman pump kit (same as the one in the above thread) if you are looking to buy one. It is brand new. PM me if interested.

      one more question:

I want to use a classic body but plan to get a longer cocker threaded barrel. Can I use a Doc's Automag Barrel Adapter? or will that in anyway interfere with the pump kit?

You'll be fine with Doc's or Noxx55's barrel adapter.

          another question:

Would I benefit at all with a level 10 bolt? or do I not need it and just keep the level 7 on?

You would not benifit from a lvlx on a pump mag. Keep the lvl7, it is more efficient.
