    remote vs. drop forward

i'm running a remote to my minimag using nitro but was thinking of going to a drop forward. using a drop forward would be easier but i'm concerned about putting too much weight on my gun (i like to shoot one-handed sometimes. i noticed in all the tournament vids that people have their tanks on their guns. is this just because they are sliding into their bunkers? what are people's preferences and why? thanks in advance for your help.

    Drop forward!

With the right drop forward/tank combo your gun will be well balanced and will sit in your hand nicely! The problem I have with remotes is the line catching on things. Other then that they are nice due to the weight difference!
AND ON THE 8TH DAY GOD CREATED THE AUTOMAG!!

Once you get the hose out of the way remote it great. I've never seen anyone with the tank on gun take the kind of one handed shots I take or shoot on the move as well. Also having less mass on gun = less inetia = faster, more acurate snap shots. But you do have to find something that works for you as far as the hose goes.

          size line

for those of you with a remote, do you like the skinny line remotes or the fatter line? i have a skinny line and it tends to get tangled on itself. i haven't had it snag branches or anything.
