Any HP tank out there (~1000 psi out) that is just a screw in style? Something not big and bulky that is fairly lightweight?

I agree. Nitroduck's Ireg seems like what you are looking for.
I have the Ireg and the pistons. I can use it for my low pressure (400 psi) ION and switch to high pressure (1000 psi) Automag/TacOne. Just change the pistons and you are ready to go.
Another reg you might want to check is the Smart Parts inline Maxflo. Easy adjustable on the fly. It is a bit heavy though and not the screw in type.Comment

I have a NitroDuck X-stream screw in adjustable reg. I've only had it for a few weeks. It seems to work pretty good. It's easily adjustable on the fly, you don't need the special tool made for it, just a large set of pliers or channel locks. However it only gets up to around 850-900 psi. Because of this I will probably be selling it and getting a Max Flo Adjustable so I can get my RT over 1000 psi. I would assume you're looking for over 1000 psi too, but let me know if you'd be interested in the X-stream.

ok I found the i-regs and piston kits on ebay. Now I have 2 nitroduck tanks that have regs that look exactly the same as those i-regs. Did Nitroduck make other regs that look the same as the i-reg? or do I have 2 i-regs? I'm just trying to figure out if I need to buy the reg and piston kit, or just the kitComment

I ordered 2 of those i-reg piston kits off ebay and they came today.. I did have 2 i-reg nitroduck tanks. I had to drain all the air out of the tank before I installed it. I will post tomorrow after work when I get the tank filled. I just want to let anyone who is thinking about getting the i-reg or the piston kit, if you already have the i-reg on your tank like I did, the pistons are VERY easy to change. you dont even have to unscrew the reg completely off the tank. There is a front cap that you remove to change the piston. Very easy upgrade. I am gonna shoot the 1000psi piston in a 68/4500 NitroDuck tank on a mag with X-Valve, lvl10, and ULT. I'll have more info tomorrow.Comment

well I just fired the mag with the 1000 psi i-reg. When rapid firing I definitely got alot of RTing here and there, but with the ULT, your still not gonna find a sweetspot.. just seems to be an added bonus when firing fast. Also with 1000 psi, the trigger response just seems so much crisper than having 800psi in the mag. I would definitely recommend putting a 1000 psi reg on your tankComment
