Playing in a game this weekend and air started blowing out the back of the valve profusely and the velocity shot through the roof. Piston needs replaced? or just an oring?

Most likely your reg seat is toast, or you are missing your reg valve pin & spring. Either of those things and your reg won't reg but be able to ..., well, regulate.Originally posted by knightnight4u
Your piston was doing its job of venting in case of overpressure, so it should be fine.

Study it like the bible, Tom Kaye explains litteraly EVERYTHING about the classic mag valve, what can go wrong with it, and how to fix it! I watched it multiple times and took notes for myself. I bet secretweaponevan is right tho', it's definately something with your reg, and probably the reg seat. Make sure its' totally clean, lubed, and seated correctly.Comment
