    X Valve curiosity

So I just recently picked a very good condition Blue X Valve and I want to get some grips to match it. My issue is I do not know the official color name or code. Its a darker shade of blue. Thanks for your answers.

I dont know about the colored ones but i have 2 black ones, both are very different shades of black. Your blue may be quite different from someone elses. Again i have never even seen a colored X so this is just speculation. Best of luck getting a color match.

I have some BNIB Blue Dye Stickie 3s if you are interested. They are kind of darker. I got them in an order mix-up and never got around to doing an exchange...

On a side note, my RTPro is in total... I don't even know how many different shades of black. The Intelli is like a glossy black, the foregrip is like a bright black, the barrel and bottomline are a semi-gloss black, the sight-rail and foregrip adapter are a matte black, and the rail is a very matte almost blued looking black, lol. Not to mention the macroline is different and the macro-fittings are a faded black... And the hopper and warp hose don't match, and the warp adapters don't match though the warp bracket is about the same color as the sight-rail...
The black of the grips is a dust black... The PF plug matches the Macro I guess...

I guess your really can't be nit-picky because unless you custom make everything or segregate to one company and type of metal/finish nothing will match 100%, even if you stick with the same company, metal, and process then the mixtures can differ slightly making different shades of anno, metal, or paint coats... It'll be like 95% replicated but will still seem altered.

I have a blue X valve as well, and it's darker than the ULE body I was hoping to match it to.
They're close but not exactly the same.
