how do you setup your trigger?

i have been all about having the on off close early and open late for some time, when i ride the trigger forward slowly i notice that the trigger clicks twice, first releasing the bolt, then the on off. but i notice that if i do that not every time will the on off fully push against the sear moving it forward, this leads to short stroking and shootdown

so im going to attempt to shorten the on off pin activation to get it closer to the engagement of the bolt.

so i would like to know what setup you prefer, to give me what ideas would be best for a mech pull

so i would like to know how most of you have tuned your triggers, either to save the sear or to reduce short strokes.
Use a quad o-ring and/or different length RT on/off pins to adjust. I wouldn't try anything else besides training your finger.

sorry i mean how do you prefer your setup, i have already planned on doing that, last resort is cutting my longer pin(no no no)

but i know some people with e frames like a setup where the pin closes earlier so theres less bolt chew

For the on/off to close earlier, you want a longer pin.
