    G-Force with ULT on/off????

I was wondering if anyone is running their G-force frame with a ULT on/off. Right now my Mag has a ULT in it....came that way...and wanted to know if it will work/work properly like that. If anyone is running ULT some feed back from it would be great!

And yes ill admit it I haven't even toyed with it yet...if you can believe it...but I guess the fact that I ordered it while I was in Iraq and was more excited to come home in may last year than to get my g-force frame. Now I am I am waiting on the internal LPR from Garf but thats a different story all together.

Hmmm..well Garf sent out an email about a week ago saying that my LPR will be shipped by the end of the month. Heard that one before, but im going to glass half full about this one and take him at his word. Right now I am concerned about the on/off situation and trying to make sure I have all that in order before I receive the LPR. Thanks though MANN. Maybe ill give pneumagger a look in March if I dont get it by then.

I have only seen one up close/shot it. that user was using an RT on/off. It worked well. most other pneumags use an Rt on/off as it has more force to reset the sear.

          Mann,,,

The G-Force I was using at this years AO South has a E-Mag Valve w/ E-mag on/off pin... I couldn't remember if you had shot it or not... I know that Punkncat shot it over at the crono station...

Anytime you want to shoot it you know where to find me...

I'm using the RT in my G-Force frame FTW... I have ULT's but prefer the RT's and have never tried the ULT in the G-Force frame.

                  why spend more money?

                  Use what you have.

I doubt you will out shoot it.

I used a classic on/off and rt on/off with no problems.

I'd be willing to bet the ult will work as well.

I had just recently setup my G-Force frame. I am using an E-Mag on/off. I had tried using a spare ULT and it did not seem to work too well. The sear was not resetting properly for some reason.
Now, I did not even bother to try to tune the ULT or anything like that. For all I know, there may not have been enough oil in the on/off or the ULT may have had too many/few shims.. I just didn't bother testing to find out.

I think that given the design of the g-force frame and how it uses the sear extender, I do not know how the ULT will perform with it (longer sear arm, added weight of the sear, etc). I know that the more conventional DIY pneumags work quite well with the ULTs. (where the ram is actuating the sear at a much higher point)

The best (and most obvious) thing to do is just try it You may need to tune your ULT a little bit.. I would suggest tuning it first using a standard frame and then put the G-Force frame on so you're only troubleshooting one part at a time.
Definitely post up with your results too!

Not to get too off-topic, but those that have used an E-Mag on/off, have you had any issues with the sear-stop screw? I just removed mine altogether. I don't know if there is any drawback to not using it but the response of the sear was kind of finicky until I just removed it.

I thought you said RT on/off. It shot well. I would use whatever WK2 is using.

Anywho an RT and Emag on/off both have the same return force. a ult has less which i have found hard to reset an mpa3 actuator with it.
