Today I am hooking up my new Flatline to a Shocktech drop forward. It slides on fine, but the Shocktech's dovetail seems to be a little bit smaller than the Flatlines. So when I tighten it down, the drop forward raises up about half of the height of the dovetail and makes the tank have a small shake to it even if the screw is tightened all the way. Anyone else have any problem like this before and know a solution?

Yeah, mine did that too. No way to fix (that I know of, however I never tried to fix it), just have to deal with it. I never noticed it while I was playing, just if i'm sitting around messing with it. -
turns out it was an opticial illusion... the drop forward and the dovetail were tight. It was the 2 screws holding the dovetail to the Flatline that was loose. Tighten those up, problem solved.Comment
