    Emag not shooting correctly

ok brand new Emag from tuna. Aired it up for the first time. Trigger will click but not firing in both modes E or M. I then took the tank off and back on, and this time it fires in E and M but after 10-20 shots it goes back to just clicking. After about 10 to 15 seconds after it stops firing and starts clicking, air will start to leak out of the Level 10. Only thing I can do is disconnect the tank and air it back up and does the same thing, fires a few shots then goes to clicking then leaks out the Level 10.

I am kinda confused over this, I just started with the problem but figured I would put a thread up here to help me along the way. If you need anymore info from me, just ask.

    Thanks,
    Damian

umm... input pressure on the tank? tank pressure? did you just get the emag? does it leak when you hold the trigger back in mech mode? if not then its your level ten. if it leaks after the pin is pulled back then its the on/off pin or further back.

test that and let us know.

Start with tank pressure and if its above 750 (if its a normal HP tank it should be) and then move on to the regulator pressure at the back of the gun. then pull the trigger and check, then report back here and let us know what happens

-Make sure there is over 800 psi in the tank and that it is not a LP reg on it.

I tested with 2 tanks. a Nitroduck I-Reg with 1000psi output and an AGD FlatLine, was set between 800-900psi.

I adjusted the reg pressure on the x-valve just about all the way up and down with same results

It wasnt leaking, more like venting because it wouldnt start leaking until afew minutes after the gun stoped firing.

Even when the gun stopped firing, the sear pin still stuck out and had pressure behind it when you pull the trigger.

I went ahead and oiled the valve, and now when I gas it up, it doesnt shot at all. The sear pin still has pressure behind the trigger, but doesnt fire in any mode E or M. There is no leak in the gun at any point in the gun now.

The Emag is brand new from tunamart

Did you really torque that valve screw down? It's my understanding that if that happens, it will set the bolt off just enough to not allow the bolt to cycle.

            no, its just hand tight.

when there is air in the gun, there is pressure behind the trigger and it clicks when you pull the trigger, it just doesnt fire. That is the problem it currently has

It sounds like it is just that your lvl 10 is out of whack. Retune it.

                Evan was right.

just had to tune the lvl10, the carrier came 2 sizes too tight.. bolt wasnt moving.. gun wasnt firing. all fixed now.

Its amazing how easy it is to overlook such simple things like that when you are so excited to have a brand new Emag in your hands... thats why we have AO

                thanks guys
