    Emag problems

Hey, first time poster and its Friday night and I was hoping someone could help me here instead of waiting till Monday to call AGD.
    Anyway...
I got my Emag in and I hooked up the mods that I ordered with it.
    Warp feed
    drop foward
    and a couple others.
After the first game I clean it and thought everything went right then I pulled the trigger, When I first got it and the switch was on "M" there was a much bigger trigger stroke, when I put it on "E" the trigger stroke was much shorter which is normal(I think) I clceaned it and put it back together and to test it to make sure everything is working there is a problem, the trigger seems limp instead of moving back and forth it just stays in one spot and hardly moves. When I switch it on E it will sometimes go into this odd firing rate.
I took it apart again and I was looking inside at the switch for the E and M and it looks like something needs to be screwed into the hole, since I dont have a diagram of the trigger I cant figure out if this is true or not.
Also, when I plug in the battery and hit the top button it shows some red then goes away, I keep hitting it and the same thing happens, just some red light shows up and I cant make out anything that its saying.

But right now I put it on M and I hardly have to pull the trigger and it will fire and I find this odd because the battery is off and I thought its supose to do this when its on hyrbrid mode.

I believe your trigger block is installed wrong. It's the round piece that the black lever for M and E Mode connects to. It should be set so that in, I believe, M mode you can see the set screw and adjust it from the top of the frame. Not sure on this though. I do know that in either E or M mode you should be able to see and adjust the set screw on the trigger block. I'm also pretty sure there's a small ball bearing and spring that is in the frame that locks the trigger block in the two positions. Make sure you haven't lost the ball bearing or spring. Make sure that you take out the sear axle pin on the right side of the frame whenever you seperate the rail from the frame. How much of the gun did you take apart when you cleaned it? If you didn't take the trigger block out, then there's something else you messed up and right now I can't seem to think of what it could be.

Also, when you put the battery on and hit the contacts, it should say AGD 1.37 if your E-Mag is fairly new. If it's displaying a scrambled screen something is wrong and you need to call AGD.

      yah

Yah, I have taken the I guess its the trigger block off, and there is a ball bearing and spring under it...on the trigger block there are 3 little dents where the ball bearing goes to.
Should the middle dent be pointed straight up or down?
I should also say the first time I cleaned it I didnt clean that far, all I cleaned was the main body and the outside of the valve so I dont know what I hit to make it all messed up.
When you talk about finding the set screw and adjust i from the top of the frame... where is this screw? Is it on the black or...

        Hi Mike,

Welcome to AO! It sounds like the magnets that return the trigger fell out when you were cleaning the gun. It's either that or the magnet on top of the trigger came unglued (unfortunatly locktight recomended the wrong glue). If your trigger is limp it has something to do with the magnets.

The set screw I'm talking about is the one that's in the trigger block that limits the travel of the pull. Take a look at the pic that shows the top of the grip frame and points to the trigger stroke adjustment screw. Put it in so it looks like that and you should be fine. http://www.airgun.com/emagtechpix.html

Check the magnets also. There's one in the top of the trigger that has a tendency to break loose from the trigger. You should also have the magnets in the trigger frame as shown in the pics.

Ok Im looking at the gun and I see 2 magnets IN the trigger, the top one is out of place I bet that could be the problem as you said AGD, what kind of glue should I use to reseat it?
And I found the screw, I was looking at the block wrong, but its there. Ill look around the house for some crazy glue, maybe that will hold it in for now.
If there is anther kind of glue you think I should use please tell me,
Thanks for all the help guys.

Oh something else I forgot to add, how do you take out the trigger? I see a little metal rod in there but I cant get it out.

Okay, take the frame off of the gun and remove the trigger block. Next, carefully take a drift punch the size of the pin that the trigger pivots on and tap it out FROM the right side of the frame (if looking at the gun as you point it straight forward). You'll see that the one end of the pin is knurled. Now you can take the trigger out and you'll see the spot that the magnet is supposed to glued in on the top of the trigger. Take some hard metal pick and scrape off any residue in the spot where the magnet goes in the trigger. Use some kind of super glue, epoxy or Loctite 404 Instant Adhesive. The Loctite 404 is the best adhesive I've used for bonding parts.

The only thing holding it is that little pin that the trigger pivots on, I couldnt find a drift punch but I found something that should work fine, but I cant get it out, I point the gun away from me and hit the ring side of the pin like you said, it wont budge.

Make sure you are hitting it out from the RIGHT side of the frame. You have to give it a good smack. Just tapping on it with a hammer won't budge it. If you have the right tools and are setup properly to do it, you can give it a good smack without worrying about scratching up your frame. Make sure you're hitting it so that when it does start to come out it won't be blocked by the hard surface you have the frame resting on.

Go to your hardware store and get a drift punch that is the size of the pivot pin. Not sure what size it is, but I'm sure you could walk in with just the frame and find out.
