As long as the guts weren't broken and the board is okay, you can easily swap old for new shells. Just be careful you don't strip the screw holes when you put the motor and board back in.

cool so I don't need to go out and buy a soddering iron before I do this? I just check the store and all warp shells are out of stock. I am mortal again. No more super intergalactic powers of invisiblity. Rats...When will they be availabe again.

I don't have my warp infront of me right now, but I think some soldering would be involved to switch shell halfs.

At the very least you would have to disconnect the motor from the board, thats two wires. I also think that you would have to undo the 9v harness, but I'm not sure about that one.

You MUST desolder the wire leads from the motor. That's the only way you can remove the motor and board. Desolder the wire leads right at the motor connections and then unscrew the board and pull it out. Then you can unscrew the motor and put it in your new shell.
