    ULE body/classic rail?

    Hi,

I have a classic rail and tried to instal a ULE body on it. I already took the twist lock adapter off so everything is fine and dandy. The ULE body has a little nub where the screw goes in, through the grip frame through the rail into it securing it in place. This nub pokes off of the rail so it will not slide onto the classic rail. My question is, do you need to have a ULE rail to go with a ULE body??

    Thank you, Caine

There shouldn't be a problem there.

You should have an oblong recess in the rail where the round nub on the ULE body will drop into.

So are you supposed to attach the body first, then the valve into the body? That makes sense. I was doing it vice versa. Duh.

New problem. I got it assembled. Gas it up, massive leak is coming through the body, out the sides, its leaking everywhere. I took apart the on off but Im pretty sure I assembled everything correctly. o-ring, teflon , onoff top/pin/bottom thats the order I did it first to last. Its not the carrier size (lvl 10) I dont think, because then it would be barrel leak. Funny thing is, it still shoots. Also, it is not shooting overly hot, it's not coming out the rear of the valve.

If it is shooting fine, then it's probably the bottom (body) oring on the on/off, or possibly the pin oring in the on/off body.

Sounds like you destroyed your reg seat. It is the little squarish donut that fits between the two valve halves.

I dont think its the bottom o ring, the reason I disassembled it was to replace the on off o rings.
Ill check out the reg seat.

Dont forget when you go from a steal body to a ULE body you will need a diffrent frame screw.

Ok fixed that problem, apparentally I missed an o ring in the on off assembly. Installed it, it's good to go now. New problems though.
Im getting the "sprinkler" effect, hold down the trigger and it sputters every second or so like a sprinkler.

Also, on another classic mag I own, with level 10 I have a problem. The gun is brand new. I gas it up, no leaks everything is good, there is pressure on the trigger but when I pull the trigger it does not fire. It's just a pressured trigger. There's about 2k psi in my tank so that should be fine.

                  Thank you all, Caine

I guess its a possibility that your on/off pin isnt the correct length, you will have to measure it to be sure.

Mag1: Your teflon on/off top o-ring is leaking. Replace it.

                        Mag2: Turn up your velocity.
