    Yes, if you have to use bad paint, keep the velocity down. It does help keep it straight. Shoot about 260 fps instead of 280 or 290. Its noticeably more accurate.

    stoffa15: You are correct, the proper size is best for efficiency and overall performance.

    I use the larger size due to competition X-ball. I can't afford to have a ball break in the breach or barrel. I sacrifice efficiency for a barrel that will shoot anything I place in the chamber. As for accuracy, I don't notice any differences. Good paint goes straight, and bad paint just goes.
    Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

      But that denies you the grand photo op with paint dripping from your barrel to the point that you couldn't possibly get a ball down range!
