    Strap Wrenches (for feedneck removal)...

I don't own one but I'm about to be swapping at least 2 feednecks out of various guns that currently have factory installed necks in them. So you know they are going to be in there pretty good. I know you've gotta take a hair dryer to them to loosen up the loctite, and its wise to reapply loctite. Got that research covered...

What I need to know is simply a good brand and size strap wrench and where to buy it? Also what materials and styles to avoid and what I shoudl look for?

I've casually looked while I was at home depot and all I found was something I wouldn't dare touch my guns with (i.e. sure fire way to mar my stuff. I also encountered several sizes and I wanna know which is going to be the best for removing feednecks without damaging them or the gun (or me).

Also I would rather get by without spending more than $20 on one since it seems like a pretty simple tool. As I recall the one plastic one that was at HD was pricey... so where should I go and what should I buy? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

I use a thick towel and a pair of pliers. It does not leave any marks.

I've done that with limited success lol... maybe as a last resort but there's reason enough for me to go ahead and pick one up (tank regs and such). I know one particular i-reg of mine is on there good enough so I can't drop the pressure down and I'd like to.

Leather in a vice seems to work good, as long as you don't crank the vice enough to bend the feedneck...

I don't loctite my feednecks, hand tight, then lock a loader in it, then torque it via the loader. Then removal is the same way, with a clamped loader...

Of course, provided it is a clamping feedneck.

Actually, I accidentally removed my friends ULE warp body feedneck by trying to twist off the warp elbow. Didn't realize it was as tight as it was on the feedneck

But I am having issues getting a stock autococker feedneck off and I can't find my leather strips for my vice... I might try to find a small strap-wrench.

After heating it up with a torch a thick pliable piece of rubber and a vice/vice grips works well.

belt wrenches are great for regs, tanks, tank regs, feed necks, and ect worth picking up if your going to be in paintball a while.
