    CO2 Automag?!

Ok, heres the deal. I would really like to run my automag on CO2 because its cheap, its everywhere, and i already have 4 tanks. So, is there anyway i can setup my TKO 68 Automag to run good off of co2???? i play year round here in Indiana so it does get cold.

My other thought was to just setup my gun to run off of co2 good and buy a n2 tank also. and then if i run out of n2 on the field can i switch to co2 w/ out changing anything except my velocity????

    thanks alot.

You could get a palmer stabilizer as a foregrip, a bottomline to your asa. Put an x-chamber in your asa, then run a remote hose from that to your tank in your pack. Make sure you get a coiled remote hose thats thick.

Really, its as cheap to do that and run it off c02 as it is to get niro. I switched from c02 to nitro and would never go back. Its worth it.

    Palmer Stabilizer- 90$
    Remote 30$
    Good X chamber 40$
    thats 160$.

You can get a brand new fiberwrapped tank for that price.

The Stabilizer is a reg that prevents almost any liquid from getting in the gun. Notice i said almost, thats where the rest of the stuff i mentioned comes to play.

you could also run a vertical bottle. I played that way for years without problems.

Yes X chambers work on mags. You have to get a ASA adapter for it to work though.

I used a plamer stabilizer and a remote with CO2 and it worked fine (no expansion chamber). I live in CA and it rarley gets cold. :) I don't think I ever played with it below 45 degrees.

the regulator will act as an expansion chamber and also will be able to adjust the pressure....

so if i got the Palmer Stabalizer, expansion chamber, and angled asa do you guys think i'd have problems running CO2???
i'll probably still buy a N2 system but i want to be able to switch to CO2 for backup.

what kind of expansion chamber would you guys recomend??

and how hard is this stuff to install??

                        thanks alot,

pick an expansion chamber or a regulator, do not get both

regulator or an expansion chamber, angled asa and anti syphon tank will solve a lot of problems.... maybe if you run remote too that will help a lot...

                              Anti-siphon

Also, if you are running on gun, not vertical bottle, you could look into getting an anti-siphon installed. Costs about $10.
