mounting a Qloader

I have a new project gun I am working on and I decided to use a Qloader on it.

Now I went on qloaders website and every picture of it on a gun had it running in line with the barrel up in front of the gun. That setup isn't what I want because this gun is gonna use a minimag body with the factory 8" barrel. The Qloader will be sticking out way past the barrel.

Is there a way to mount it kinda like how you mount a warp feed and basicly in the same general area that a warp feed goes? That would pretty much get the Qloader in line with the body, which will be good for me.

also if you have a qlaoder setup like how I am describing, post a pic and I will say if that is what I am looking to do. Also if I find a pic of how I want it, I will post that as referance

To better explain myself. I want to use a Qloader with the mount like this:

Now I am going to be using a drop forward for my tank, so I was planing to put a warp feed mounting bracket under my frame, then install the Qloader in the holes that you would normally mount the warp feed.

Think that setup would work?

how is the Qloader mounted to the gun? and would it be possible to do that setup with the qloader and tank facing the other direction? Also would an 68ci HPA work on that setup?

I drilled and tapped holes on the drop forward(although it's turned around to be a 'drop back') and the 90* bracket is screwed on the drop with 6-32 screws. Just turning the drop forward around would get the tank and pod oriented in a more normal way. As it is, you can screw in a 45ci tank without a cover on it. If a spacer was added to give a bit more distance between tank and pod, a 68ci with cover would be easily possible.

ta2maki, how long did it take you to polish those minimag bodies? I'm faced with polishing mine by hand. Luke no longer offers polishing services.

Are those not chrome bodies to start with Autofiend? Check with Spyder? he does jeweling. He may polish something out for ya quick and easy.

Pretty sure those are just very well polished. I have poished a few bodies by hand and it does take awhile. I did just learn one trick that is saving some time. When polishing with sandpaper, use each grit in one direction and than another. When going in the direction that is vertical to the body, put it in a clamp(protected by duct tape or some sort of padding) and use a long strip of paper and buff back and forth similiar to a how a shoe shiner does. It seems to speed up the process a bit. Ive worked on mine for probably 2 hours at least by now and may have been done except for having to take breaks due to my dual tendonitis.

If you are wanting someone to do polishing, LK-13 on this forum does outstanding work, and it's reasonable considering the time it takes to do it by hand without your own polishing wheel setup.

Its quite easy to hand polish the stainless bodies. It just takes some time. Use progressively finer sandpaper starting at 400 grit and work towards 3000 grit. After the 3000 grit, use rouge or a metal polish to finish the shine. You can do it while sitting and watching television. The finish will actually be nicer than the stock polished bodies from AGD.
