Detent problem on an RPG Exile w/ LevelX

I have an RPG Exile body w/ dual detents. I use an XValve w/ LvlX. I had placed CP detents in them hand tight and went to test fire/tune the level X... After an exorbitant amount of chuffing, I took a look in the breech and saw my detents were out of whack (one ball was further in than the other, and the one that was further out wouldn't depress). I removed both and found that the side that was facing in towards the bolt was "crushed" in by the bolt coming forward.

I've never encountered this before and I was wondering if it was the detents themselves just sticking in too far or something else?

Any help would be appreciated! I don't mind buying new detents, but I don't want the same thing to happen again.

Yep detents were too far in. Use the larger diameter detent o-ring. I do believe only the tac-one bodies should be using the small diameter detent o-rings.

Well, they were both bought second hand so they didn't come with larger diameter o-rings . That's what I figured (as far as them being too far in). I guess I'll just start over and buy new. I assume that the detents when purchased new come with larger diameter o-rings as well as the smaller?

Medic is correct, your detents were screwed in too far. The thinner o-rings are meant for Tac bodies. The thicker o-rings are meant for ULE bodies(which is what the Exiles & Pariahs are machined from).
