AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
what kind of efficiency am i supposed to be getting out of a classic mag running a 68 4500 psi air tank? right now i am getting anywhere from 600-800 shots on it.
thanks for the help

my local shop owner claims to get 850 shots off of a 45 4500 psi tank on a classic valve mag. do you guys have any tips for raising mag efficiency?

For best efficiency don't shoot over 280 fps. Use the shortest level 10 spring. Use an unported 11" barrel. I actually use a 12" with very small porting and get over 1100 shots on a 68-4500 and the small ports make it very quiet without sacrificing efficiency.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

I went through the same line of thinking back in '92 or so. Then I realized that sometimes the most reliable markers aren't that efficient. I'll take reliablility over all.
I get around 1000 rounds off of a 70/4500 tank (tank only filled to 4000 psi) running at around 250-260 fps. I play indoor mostly, so I have to stay at the lower velocities.
