    Question Regarding the Warp Feed

Hopefully some of you guys will know this cause I couldnt figure it out.
I had a warp feed a while back on my Tac-One w/ ULT. I started off using the vert feed Tac-Body, but had problems loading because (Im assuming) the angle of the hose was weird (similar looking to a backwards question mark) and it wasnt feeding right.

So to remedy this, I bought a Warp Left Tac-Body. I milled down the rail to fit the body on and thought all would work fine. When I had it setup like this..I chopped...constantly. I put the vert feed body on to see if it would chop any with it (thinking first that I had a problem with my Lvl10) I ripped through a hopper of paint with no chops or breaks. I put the warp body back on and chopped like crazy.

When I got the Warp, the vibration sensor was broke, so I bought a Intelli Cable from Lukes Customs.

I want to get a warp setup for my Emag (Brand new Warp Feed, Warp ULE body, Emag Warp Cable).

My question is, what was the problem with my prior warp setup? Did I not have the rail milled enough? Was it a problem with the Warp??

Any help is greatly appreciated...I dont wanna drop about $250 for a new setup unless I know its gonna work.

    Thanks guys!

Enhander - you are going through a learning curve. Everyone does with a warp.

    A few things to consider;

-Make sure that there are no bends in the hose restricting the feeding of paint.
-Make sure your detent is allowing the paint to feed all the way into the breech.
-Check the warp 'on-time' (Dwell). If its not feeding paint good enough, adjust the jumpers on the warp board to lengthen the on time. I think you remove jumpers to increase it but I am not sure off the top of my head.
-If you are using the warp elbow, make sure it has the parabolic powerfeed plug in it. The older style will hinder feeding.

This will sound stupid but what is this "parabolic powerfeed plug" that you speak of?

The older pf plugs had a flat spot on them that hindered force-feeders.

Here is anther good link for you

Because we all love perfect curves, eh?

Warps are great. Just stick with it and give it time. You'll learn to love the beast.

Though like you've experienced they do seem to enjoy putting up a fight.

It had no problems (other than the occasional misfeed) loading vert...it was only when I put the Warp body on...So things I should do would be to adjust the detent, make sure theres no curves in the hose...Im using the proteam warp adapter..not the normal clear pastic warp adapter.

...and make sure you are using the parabolic feed plug, not the old one with the flat spot.

Something you might also want to try if you got the intelli frame still on is the intellifeed mod. You install a micro switch that is wired to a 3.5mm head phone jack that plugs in the bottom of the warp--everytime you pull the trigger the feed runs---i've noticed with the traditional vibration mode that the warp will not run a full couple seconds if the vibration isn't powerful enough---I had all kinds of problems trying to get the timing right and then finally added the mod---its runs perfectly now.

                  I had that mod.

If i get the warp again it'll be going on my Emag.

I had a similar problem. The first time I used a warp with intelli-switch on my RT Pro, it was great. The time after that was a nightmare. I bought my emag specifically because it came with a warp left body and a plug-in that linked the warp to the board. Just got my battery charged a couple days ago so I haven't had a chance to try it, but I imagine it will be pretty impressive.

I have played before with a warp on my emag in mech mode and had all sorts of issues with the vibration sensor. It was either not sensitive enough and wouldn't feed, or was too sensitive and would keep spinning once the ball stack reached the breech.

Whenever I use a warp now, it will be on an electronic gun.

Like I said, 'learning curve', and with the warp, its a big one.
