Can this be done? classic pneumag.

I got this baby some time ago and i already have changed all the o rings and got a rt on off. It's working pretty fine now. The trigger frame is a benchmark. Has anyone ever made a pneumag with such a frame. This trigger just sucks, it moves a lot sideways and goes a long way foward. Should i change the trigger or should i replace the whole frame? Does anyone has a video of a classic pneumag? Thanks a lot for any advice.

Yes it is possible, but you have has a to Dremel out a channel in the front & rear strap of the frame (front & back wall) to allow the MSV-2 to actuate properly, mill the upper portion of the to fit in the MPA-3, drill a 1/8" hole for the actuation rod, mill the body to run the LPR hose, and tap a 1/8" NPT hole for the LPR. I had Matt lukescustoms.com do all of the machining work. He is very reasonable and quick turn around. In pic 1 it shows the MSV-2 in a unmilled frame. In pic 2 it shows the MSV-2 fitted/milled. Pic 3 is just to show off. Also notice in pic 2 you can see the trigger rod. I cut a slot into the trigger where it contacts the safety, so that the safety now acts as a trigger stop when on and shortens the trigger travel.....

I have never seen that body before! Is it just a turned ULE body? The rail also seems to be home made.

I would change trigger frame if it was me. I'd get an intelli to match. Pneuing the benchy will not remove the sideways slop.

Also, not many people use classic valves for pneu projects. I think they are more problematic.

          1) Yup I made it with a Dremel and a nail cutter file.....Ok it's rally a PTP uni-body from 04/05.
          2) A simple shim on the trigger rod will cure the side to side slop.
          3) Not true a classic valve with a RT on/off makes a great platform for a pneumag.

I think he meant chefomar's mag body, which looks like a mod'd slug body

I was wondering what you were talking about on #1 LOL. You are right on the other 2 so i didn't really want to contradict the first one. But yeah, i was talking about the body and rail of the OP.

To tell you the truth I don't know what body that is, as for the rail I think it's a classic rail that was milled. I got this gun on e bay. The body is made from aluminum and it is pretty light compared to a classic body. I will be polishing both to make them look better.
