    RT Pro sear travel distance

What is the distance the sear must travel to trip the bolt? I'm tinkering with matching an Angel IR3 frame to an Emag rail and then pneuing the whole thing. Space at the top of the frame is at a premium and the farther back on the frame I can place the rail, the better. Thanks for your help.

it depends on lots of factors, pin length, bolt spring but a good rule of thumb is 3 to 6mm or so of sear travel. My pneumag has a special spring return SMC actuator as the sear tripper, its stroke is 5mm and it works just fine.

Another note the mags grip frame hole spacing is 4.25 inches and the angels is only 3.875 inches. You will most likely have to extend the rear thumbscrew hole .375 inches.

I know about the frame screw holes being off. That is my dilemna. I want to pull the rail farther back on the frame, using the front screw hole in the frame, to give more room in the frame top for the MPA-3. Moving the rail back, won't give me much room for the sear to travel towards the back of the frame to release the bolt. I'll measure out 6mm and see where that leaves me. Thanks.
