    Pre Anodizing Qs

I plan on sending my mag out to gruntbull here at the end of the month for a quick ano job.

Most of the pieces I'm sending are raw. What do I need to do in order to get them ready for ano? They still have the small mill marks on there. Sandpaper? what grit?

Also, I was considering sending my body (IT) but i'm not sure yet. Do i need to remove anything from the body or is it ok to send as is?

    Thanks
    Ty

if you are sending raw parts, that is fine. They give the option for a polished finish in which case they would polish the parts up anyways and remove any marks from milling.

If you send in the body, you need to remove the detents and feedneck, every removable part counts in the actual total of parts. so 1 technically complete body would actually be 4 ano parts.
(1 body, 1 feedneck, 2 detents) but the feedneck might count as 2 parts depending on the design...
