Need to Remove Micromag body ring, Calling RRFIREBLADE

Hey guys, well, the 2000 Micro body is going out for annodizing. Everything is stripped besides the inner body ring. Now, oh boy, I know this is going to be tricky. Ok, I know RRFireblade knows how to do it. How do you? I could get it out if I was a midget and could walk down the inside of the body but man, there is just no way to get to it. I know someone has to know how. All I can see is a tiny knurled spot through the sear slot. I know RRFireblade has siad he can do it plus the cost of a new ring but is he still around. Haven't heard anything for a while. Help, please. Thanks.

They can? Hmm, so the stainless ring won't effect the annodizing of the aluminum? Hmm, well, I will email Gruntbull and ask them and hopefully that is correct. Hopefully, we can get some color on this thing! Thanks Sumthin', anyone else?

Sweet, I will email Tracy though. Doesn't hurt. Hmm, SO, my next question is Mag79, does thefool do good work? Is he on this forum? I am looking for a new annodizer since it seems mine went out of business.

When I stopped by PTP's Maine location to put the deposit on the 2009 Micro Bodies I talked directly to Forest about this same issue with a 2000 Micro body I had. He thought having the anodizer mask it off was the best option.

You think gruntbull knows how to mask up the ring in the body and all that good stuff? I just noticed thefool had done a couple of Micromags but wonder about gruntbull. Hmm, well, I will email them too.
